Dec 28, 2017 · Interesting pics and thx for posting, but the fact that it is on 2 sides is a huge clue that it is likely mechanical doubling rather than a doubled die. A true doubled due would impact one die, and the chances of having two doubled dies on one coin are extremely unlikely to say the least.
